Ebony Brown

Ebony Brown is a holistic, creative services professional and recent real estate school graduate - a freelance photographer, writer and hair stylist. Currently, Ebony is an editorial photographer and editor at BCGMAGAZINE. She is a staff photographer and visual team contributor for Kool Nerd Club. Formerly, a part-time, Lead Home Stylist for William Sonoma's, West Elm, Ebony has transitioned from styling homes and commercial properties to a commitment of helping people to buy and sell them. As a real estate school graduate awarded full licensing qualifications in New York State, Ebony's next steps include partnering with a diverse, people first oriented realty brokerage firm in New York City.

When Ebony is not behind the lens, a computer, or in training for residential/commercial property work, she is in folks heads, not mind reading, but manifesting positive body image and energy through hair braiding; taught by her mom at 13 years old. Her specialty is long, goddess, box braid extensions. If  she can contribute something that impacts another human being in a positive and productive way, through photography, writing, real estate and even hair, then she is one shot, one article, one home, one head and one step closer to serving and honoring folks who've supported her work, or even paved a way for her to thrive. One of her favorite quotes includes the following by Michael Beckworth:

"I believe that you're great, that there's something magnificent about you. Regardless of what has happened to you in your life. Regardless of how young or old you think you might be. The moment you begin to 'think properly,' this something that's within you, this power within you that's greater than the world, it will begin to emerge. It will take over your life. It will feed you. It will clothe you. It will guide you, protect you, direct you, sustain your very existence. If you let it. Now that is what I know, for sure."

...and so, feel free to reach out, connect and explore the possibility of working with Ebony Brown.
